The Greater Richmond Chapter of the Deaf provides opportunities to get together to promote, protect and preserve the rights and quality of life of deaf and hard of hearing individuals.

General meetings: held on the 1st Saturday of each month at Purple Communications, 1504 Santa Rosa Rd, Henrico, Virginia 23224  Silent Dinners: held at various locations on 1st Friday at Chesterfield Towne Center; 2nd Friday at Virginia Center Commons; 3rd & 4th Fri- day at Regency Square Mall. The time will be from 5:30pm to 9:00pm. Silent Lunches: held at Regency Square Mall on every Wednesday from 11:00am to 2:00pm.

The Henrico Community Services Board provides opportunities for people with developmental disabilities to get together for social activity skill building and discussions about hot topics and statewide issues.
Meetings: Meet once a month. There is no meeting in August. The meetings are normally held on the third Thursday of each month at 6p.m. The Board holds its meetings at various locations throughout the three county area and occasionally changes the date or time of a meeting. If you are interested in attending, it is suggested that you call the Office of the Executive Director [804-727-8585] to verify the time and location of a meeting. These are public meetings and interested citizens are welcome to attend.
